As a wig lover, do you particularly like lace front wigs? Because they are easy to install and look natural and beautiful. But no matter how carefully you wear it, accidents sometimes happen unexpectedly. It may be improper storage, it may be incomplete cleaning, it may be a bit rough when removing the wig, or it may be that the HD lace is too thin and fragile, and the lace will be damaged. If you find that your lace is torn, don’t be frustrated, here are some easy ways to repair your lace. It's not that hard, just try it if you need to.
Please clean the wig and let it air dry, prepare the needle and scissors. Find some thread that is the same color as the lace, or even clear fishing thread to make the stitches invisible.
Please pull the two sides of the lace together and start sewing it. Keep working closer to the edge but be careful not to get too close because if you do, it will just wear, and tear and you will undo all the work and repeat the work. Go over a few rows and bring them all together and let the needle bring the thread through both sides and make sure to make a double knot there and then bring the thread to the other side and then continue going down using this stitching technique and you'll see that as you pull each stitch it tightens, and when finished, tie a double knot as well to keep the stitches secure. Now, if you turn the lace over, you'll probably see a line on the seam, and that line you see here is just because the hair wasn't moved out of the way properly. If you do have hair there and you need to move it out of the way, you can use the vent pin to pull on some of the hair to move it and get it out of the way.
If your lace wig is too big, you can cut off some of the lace and repair it using the method above to make the wig fit better.
As a wig lover, the skill of repairing lace is necessary, but the best way is to protect your lace from being torn, so when you wear a wig and want to comb your hair, be sure to press the lace with one hand and hold the other hand down. Gently comb your hair with one hand and be gentle when doing so. When taking off your lace wig at night, please make sure to remove the glue on the lace or foundation in time, which will help protect the lace and extend its use time.
